Frequently asked questions
Is Lotussoft ERP an IRD-approved billing software?
Yes. Lotussoft ERP is approved by the Inland Revenue Department of Nepal and is built to integrate with the Central Billing Monitoring System (CBMS), so your sales are reported to the IRD in the format the rules require.
What is CBMS, and does my business need it?
CBMS is the IRD's Central Billing Monitoring System, which receives sales invoice data from approved billing software in real time. Businesses above the current turnover threshold must issue electronic invoices and link them to CBMS. Smaller businesses can join voluntarily, and Lotussoft ERP supports both.
Is Lotussoft ERP built for Nepali VAT rules?
Yes. Every bill is generated in the format required for Nepal VAT compliance, and VAT reports are ready whenever you need to file.
Can I use Lotussoft ERP for more than one shop or warehouse?
Yes. Lotussoft ERP supports unlimited warehouses and branches under one account, with stock and reports tracked separately or combined.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Lotussoft ERP runs in your browser at client.lotussoft-it.com — no installation, and it works on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
What if my business doesn't need inventory tracking?
Service businesses can use billing, accounting, and reporting modules without inventory turned on at all.
